Dr Ashlee Cunsolo (Environmental Health and Indigenous Communities)

Dr Ashlee Cunsolo, is a community-engaged social science and health researcher, working with Indigenous communities on a variety of community-led research initiatives, ranging from climate change impacts on physical and mental health, cultural reclamation, suicide reduction and prevention, land-based education and healing programs, Indigenization and decolonization of higher education, and ecological grief and mourning. She is a member of the Royal Society of Canada’s College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists, the Editor of Mourning Nature: Hope at the Heart of Ecological Grief & Loss,and the Director of AttutauniujukNunami/Lament for the Land, collaboratively produced with Inuit communities in Nunatsiavut.
